Luke Combs’ The Way I Am debuts at #2 on the all-genre Billboard 200 album chart, held off from the top spot only by the reunion of K-pop band BTS and their ARIRANG record.
It’s Luke’s seventh top-10 debut on the Billboard 200, even though The Way I Am is only his sixth full studio album. That’s because 2019’s The Prequel EP emerged at #4 its first week, as well.
The North Carolina native notches his fifth #1 on the Top Country Albums tally, selling 101,000 units in its first seven days.
That’s helped, of course, by his two top tens on the Country Airplay chart, which is still a rarity. “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” is currently #5, while “Days Like These” is #7.
You’ll also find 14 of the album’s 22 tracks on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs rundown.
